The earrings hang from sterling silver ear wires measuring 2-1/4" from the top curve of the ear wire to the bottom tip of the leaf.
All metal is .925 sterling silver. They have been oxidized, tumble polished creating a matte finish and sealed with a protective coating.

This beautiful Maligano Jasper with its landscape pattern made me think of a babbling brook. I created the organic setting by flattening balls of sterling silver then surrounding the stone with these silver "pebbles" and adding a frame to complete the rustic design.
The pendant (with bail) measures 1-3/4" tall and 1" wide. It hangs from a sterling silver rolo chain in your choice of length.

Maligano Jasper gets its name from the small village in Indonesia where it was discovered in 2011 and is the only place it is known to exist. It forms in ancient volcanic hot spring areas and is mined by hand, as the village does not have the heavy machinery required for deeper excavation. Maligano is known for its contrasting golden hues on blues and greys with dendrite patterns that give the appearance of landscape or water scenes.
