This scenic nature-inspired pendant features a lone bear strolling through the pines in a mountain forest. The natural Royston Turquoise resembles a mountain lake. The bear, pine trees and mountain peaks have all been handsawn using the fine blade of a jeweler's saw.
Royston Turquoise comes from the Royston mining district located near Tonopah, Nevada and has been mined since the early 1900s.
The pendant measures 1-1/4" tall to the tip of the pine by 1-1/2" wide and hangs from a sterling silver chain in your choice of length.
All metal is .925 sterling silver (except the fine silver bezel) with an oxidized patina. It has been tumble polished and sealed with a protective coating.

Prudent Man Plume Agate comes from a relatively new mine located in the Alder Creek Mining district near Mackay, Idaho discovered and owned by Steve Howard, who sadly passed away in 2019.
The Prudent Man deposit produces many beautiful plume agate patterns in colorful earthy shades. The name Prudent Man is a tongue-in-cheek reference to an old 1874 mining law called the Prudent Man clause, which states that claims are only valid if "in the judgment of the mine inspector a prudent man could make a living by working it." Steve Howard jokingly asserted that the government declared him an unprudent man.

Aventurine is a variety of translucent quartz with abundant small inclusions. Light entering the quartz strikes these inclusions and reflects from them. This produces a sparkly appearance known as "aventurescence." The green inclusions in the stone are fuchsite, a green, chromium-rich mica similar to muscovite. It is mined in India, the Amazon jungle, corners of Russia, and the mountains of Brazil and Chile.
