A rare White Buffalo Turquoise is the stone of choice for this triple band sterling silver cuff. The natural stone is set in a smooth fine silver bezel that sits on top of three bands of sterling silver...a thick textured band surrounded by two narrow bands.
White Buffalo, although technically not turquoise, is often referred to as turquoise due to its discovery in a turquoise mine. This rare mineral was discovered in the Dry Creek Mine on the Shoshone Indian Reservation near Battle Mountain, Nevada in 1993. Native Americans compared the beauty and purity of the stone to the rare white buffalo. As it is the only deposit known in the world and has very limited quantity remaining, White Buffalo Turquoise is quite rare and valuable.
The cuff measures 5-3/4" in length and can be adjusted to fit wrists 6" and up.
All metal is sterling silver (except the fine silver bezel) that has been oxidized, tumble polished and sealed with a protective coating.
Care: As with all handmade jewelry, this cuff is delicate and should never be worn when showering, swimming or during strenuous activity and sports. Beauty products such as perfume, hair spray and body lotions should be applied before putting on your jewelry. Store your jewelry in a small box or pouch to reduce tarnishing.
