Fern Fronds and Kingman Turquoise Earrings

Delicate fern fronds carefully hand-forged out of sterling silver using the fine blade of a jeweler's saw sway in the breeze above triangle-shaped Kingman Turquoise stones set on a textured background. Fine detailed veins are hand stamped onto each tiny leaf.

The earrings hang from sterling silver ear wires with a total length of 2-1/8" from the curve of the ear wire to the bottom tip.

All metal is .925 sterling silver. They have been tumble polished, given a dark patina and sealed with a protective coating.

Kingman Turquoise comes from The Mineral Park Mine, in the Cerbat Mountains northwest of Kingman, Arizona. First mined by Native Americans centuries before white men came to the area, it is one of the three sites of prehistoric mining localities in the state of Arizona.

Care:  As with all handmade jewelry, these earrings are delicate and should never be worn when showering, swimming or during strenuous activity and sports. Beauty products such as perfume, hair spray and body lotions should be applied before putting on your jewelry. Store your jewelry in a small box or pouch to reduce tarnishing. To remove tarnish, use a good quality polishing cloth such as a Sunshine cloth.
