Mountain Range Necklace - Because It's There

When George Mallory was asked why he wanted to climb Mt. Everest, his answer was "Because it's there." In the 1920s, Mallory made several attempts to be the first to reach the summit of the famous mountain. He never returned from his third attempt and it is unknown whether he and his climbing partner reached the summit before perishing. His body was not found until 1999.
